The Northern Burlington County Regional School District (NBCRSD) Board of Education is pleased to provide the following information for all interested in our Interdistrict Public School Choice Program (IPSC) for . The information that follows is designed to assist interested families in the navigation of the application process for the 2024-2025 school year.

NBCRSD offers a premier Agriscience program for students in grades 7 - 12. In fact, more recently, Northern's nationally award winning FFA program celebrated its 65th year of existence, becoming only the sixth FFA Chapter charted in New Jersey to commemorate that milestone. The NBCRSD Board of Education believes that by offering Northern's Agriscience program as an Interdistrict Public School Choice Program it will increase and expands the exposure for potential future farmers to the Agriscience community and to the science, business, and technology of farming in the 21st century. 

Below are the mandatory requirements to apply to the NBCRSD Agriscience School Choice Program.  

STEP ONE: The district will be providing a MANDATORY Orientation for interested students and their parents or guardians at the annual Open House, October 12, 2023 at 7:00 pm in the HS Media Center (160 Mansfield Road E, Columbus, NJ 08022).

If you were unable to attend this mandatory orientation on October 12th, your application is not eligible for the 2024-25 school year but we encourage you to attend the orientation in October 2024 and apply for the 2025-26 school year.

If you applied previously to our program and weren't selected, you can apply again the following year. If you are on the wait list and not selected, you must submit a new application the following year. Applications do not roll over from year to year.

STEP TWO: Parent/Guardian must submit a notice of Intent to Participate in the school choice program to the Superintendent of the district in which the student resides. THE DEADLINE FOR THIS IS NOVEMBER 17, 2023.

STEP THREE: Submit the completed application to the Northern Burlington County Regional School District's Office of the Superintendent, 160 Mansfield Road E, Columbus, NJ  08022.  THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR IS DECEMBER 1, 2023.

Participation Requirements:

• All participants selected into the Agriscience Program are required to stay in the program for their duration at NBCRSD.

• Students must participate fully in the district's Future Farmers of America (FFA) program and activities each semester.

• It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to transport their student to and from NBCRSD every school day.
