Last night we honored our 2022-23 retirees at our annual Retiree Reception held prior to the BOE meeting. Northern Burlington sincerely thanks all of them for their dedication and hard work over the years. We're going to miss them but we're excited about their new journey.

Congratulations to our Educators of the Year for the 23-24 school year. Mr. Gene Graf, HS Math teacher, and Dr. David Gallara, MS Language Arts teacher. They had a surprise visit from school administrators to deliver the good news. Congrats to both for this honorable recognition.

Northern TV is a district wide broadcast station associated with Northern Burlington County Regional School District. Northern TV offers programming to inform, educate, and entertain our school community. Programs included new shows, sporting events, awards celebrations, music concerts and more. Northern TV programming is produced by and with students in the interest of fostering understanding of media and communications in a modern world. Danielle Andreula, Applied Technology and Engineering Teacher at Northern, was invited to TCNJ as a guest speaker. She volunteered some of her spring break in April to participate in an iSTEM Career Panel at the college. She is on a mission to encourage and inspire the next generation of potential educators in technology and engineering. This work is vital to keeping Applied Technology programs open around NJ as we continue to face a very serious teacher shortage. Ms. Andreula said, “It was a nice experience. Mrs. Bennett's class recently made yummy treats for our four-legged friend, Porter. Porter is a therapy dog who occasionally visits the middle and high schools. Staff and students alike are always excited to see him. Remember and Honor #memorialday2023

We are proud to have NB participate in the annual Parade of Wreaths ceremony on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst yesterday. This event honors service members and police personnel who have given their lives in the line of duty. The Parade of Wreaths ceremony began in 1983 and has been held annually since.

Northern FFA Spring Plant Sale The Northern FFA Chapter will be holding its annual Spring Plant Sale days during the month of May. Please see the sale dates and times below. NBCRSD faculty and staff participated in Bring Your Child to Work Day yesterday. A special thank you to everyone who provided activities for the kids! They all had a great time and we loved seeing our staff's children in our schools.
