Dear Parents and Guardians,
As the month of June continues, we continue to have many highlights throughout our school and community. Monday and Tuesday we hosted our Arrive Alive assembly where 11th and 12th grade students participated in a distracted driving simulator. Wednesday and Thursday, we hosted our Art and Design show as well as our Honor Society Inductions for the National Art Honor Society and Thespian Honor Society. Last night, we watched our Baseball team clinch a Sectional Championship. Today, we hosted our Scholar's Breakfast where we got to recognize students who have had a 97 or above unweighted cumulative GPA as sophomores, juniors or seniors.
And we are not done yet! We are excited to celebrate all of the events and activities listed below. Have a great weekend, Dr. McCann |

Northern Burlington Regional School District is asking all stakeholders to participate in a Climate Survey that will collect useful data to gain multiple perspectives on aspects of school climate. Collecting data is important for understanding strengths and needs of our school and how it feels to be a member of the NBC community. Your voice is important to us, and your opinions will help us to address current priorities. The survey is anonymous, and it is voluntary. The survey will be available to all stakeholders from Friday, May 23 , 2025 thru Sunday, June 8, 2025. We appreciate your ongoing support and look forward to exploring new ways to continue working together to create the most supportive and engaging environment NBC Students, Families, and Faculty. Bucket lists have really evolved into just a list of fun or meaningful things you want to accomplish in a given period of time. With summer around the corner, and knowing that sometimes having too much unstructured time can be hard for teens(or even adults), I thought creating a bucket list might be helpful. It can be created as a family, or individually and it should be a non-judgmental list, as what is considered fun to one person may not be to another. They can be silly or more serious. You can even categorize it into these sections: For Rainy Days/Outdoor Activities/Outings and Trips/Food to Make/Goals to Accomplish etc. They can be personalized any way you wish. The lists I found are extensive and pinterest has a ton. So for those moments when you or your teen are feeling bored, just google Summer Bucket List and you should be able to find something to do! Here are just a few to get you started… Go on a weekend camping trip Play tag or basketball in the rain and/or at night Watch the sunset on the beach Make a new recipe
You can make a bucket list for each season. Just have fun with it and be intentional and your time is guaranteed to be well spent! |
