Due to the COVID-19 virus emergency, notice is hereby given that the Northern Burlington County Regional Board of Education has scheduled a virtual public regular meeting, which will include two public hearings, for Monday, April 27, 2020 at 7:30 pm.  Action will be taken. 

One public hearing will be concerning the proposed capital improvement project described below, the estimated cost and proposed method of financing thereof. 

 Description of Project - The proposed capital improvement project consists of: (i) the construction of a health, fitness and athletic training facility in and for the School District; and (ii) the completion of such other work and improvements and acquisition of equipment as may be necessary therefor or related to completion of the aforementioned capital improvement program; all as further described in the information prepared in connection therewith and on file in the offices of the Business Administrator/Board Secretary.

Total Estimated Cost - $2,600,000

Proposed Method of Financing Local Share – Five (5) year lease purchase transaction pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:20-4.2(f).

This public hearing shall be open to all taxpayers and interested parties who desire to present questions and other commentary to the Board with respect to the proposed project, estimated cost and proposed method of financing.

The other public hearing will be relative to the SSDS (formerly EVVRS) report as presented by Dr. Andrew Kearns and Dr. Sally Lopez.
