On October 15, 2026, Northern Burlington began electronically soliciting the US Department of Education's Federal Impact Aid Student-Parent Survey Form for the 2026-2027 School Year. This form is available through PowerSchool’s parent portal (parents need to log on using their user name and password, not the student user name). This survey is important and determines the amount of Federal Impact Aid the district receives. Consequently, this form, one for each student, needs to be completed and submitted by you (student’s parent/guardian/sponsor) by Friday, October 30, 2026. On October 15, 2026, PowerSchool was updated so grades are not accessible until this form is completed. If you have any difficulties accessing the form or completing it, please contact our counseling office. Thank you!
Halloween falls on Saturday this year. The day before, October 30, is a regular school day in the middle school. Students should not wear costumes, face paint, and the like to school. Please save those for Trick or Treating on Saturday evening.

| To All Student-Athletes, Parents and Guardians: Northern Burlington County Regional School District's Athletic Department has opened its High School and Middle School Winter Athletic Registration. Registration will be open and available from September 14 through December 11th, 2026. It’s important to know that our registration platform has transitioned to Bound. As a result, all previous Arbiter accounts are no longer active. Families must create a NEW Bound Account to complete registration. Please note: You must complete the entire registration process on Bound to be registered for a sport. Middle school students are only eligible for Middle School Sports. Even if your student played a Fall sport, you must log in and complete the registration steps for Winter sports, confirming all documentation and electronic signatures are in order. Once submitted, it may take 7-10 business days to become cleared for an activity. Registering does not mean you are ready to play. Please keep in mind that middle school basketball has tryouts in early November. Students must be cleared in order to try out, and students who are not cleared to try out will not make the team. A physical is valid for 365 days prior to the first day of the sport/tryouts. If your student’s physical is greater than one year old from the start date of the desired sport, you will need to schedule an appointment and have your doctor complete the required Preparticipation Medical Eligibility form in its entirety. Registration is not complete or eligible for review until you receive an email that states such. Your student is not cleared to participate until you receive an email that states such. One additional update on registering for winter sports: If you registered for sports and activities in our Bound portal before September 29, please log into your family Bound account again and complete the Registration Health History Questionnaire as soon as possible. This form was not available during registration between those dates and is required for your student to be eligible for processing by the district health care team . Your student cannot be cleared to participate in any athletics or other activities if this form is not completed. Click BOUND To access the new Health History Questionnaire please follow these steps: Go to your family dashboard on BOUND
On the left-hand side under the word Family, find the "Organizations" button and click the dropdown menu.
This will allow you to see every student you have a Bound account for. Click the "Northern Burlington" under the desired student, and it will take you to their Overview page.
Once here, click the tab named "Registrations" near the top of the screen.
Once here, click the button (it will be a yellow or green button) to the left of the registered sport. From here you can answer the questionnaire, click Save, and then exit the questionnaire. Please be sure to do this for every student you have registered for a sport.
If you have any questions regarding the registration process or the forms, the best way for parents to reach out to our support team is by either clicking the teal B button in the bottom right-hand corner of the web browser/app or they can reach out to our team at support@gobound.com.
If you have any questions regarding physicals, physical dates, or the State’s Health History Update Questionnaire, please email Michele O’Neill at moneill@nburlington.com
Additional information and tryout dates will be communicated by coaches. We are looking forward to welcoming our Winter Athletes and working with all of you this upcoming season!!
Thank you,
Frank Corigliano Director of Athletics

We can be so quick to tell ourselves stories that aren’t true, especially when we are anxious and our minds want to go to the worst case scenario. I find this to be common when we are in transition, and there are a lot of unknowns. But if we take a second, catch ourselves and just ask one simple question, “Do I really believe this will happen?” it might make your brain reroute itself in a different direction. When you get caught up in the what if’s asking yourself, “What if it goes well?” can be extremely helpful. Even telling yourself, “Let me just see how this goes.” can put a more relaxed spin on things. One other technique that is known to work is actually asking yourself what you would do if the ‘worst’ thing happens. This can help you devise a plan and make that outcome a little less scary, such as “Even if I fail this test I can…” So, at the beginning of the school year, whether you are a new or seasoned teacher, a freshman or a senior, try to set an intention to cope with various unknowns with a deep breath and a “whatever happens I can handle it” mentality.
If your child is missing an item, particularly a piece of clothing or a water bottle, please encourage them to check the lost and found. Most of our lost and found items are on tables outside the gymnasium and items that are more valuable are on the main office counter (jewelry, electronics, etc). Ultimately, whatever is not picked up is donated at different times of the year to the PTSC clothing drive.
