This is a picnic event that includes food, music, and outdoor games, and dress is casual. Tickets were sold in advance, and no tickets will be sold at the door. Students should have their ticket and student ID.
Northern Burlington is hosting the state group track meet earlier the same afternoon. We anticipate that there will still be a significant amount of cars and buses in our lots as class night begins. To facilitate drop off and pick up for class night, please plan to do the following: Student drop off will take place at 7th grade bus entrance off of the bus parking lot that is accessed via North Island Road. DO NOT COME TO THE MAIN LOT OR MAIN ENTRANCE. Student pick up will be at the same location as drop off, the bus lot accessed via North Island Road Students should not arrive earlier than 6 pm. Students must be picked up promptly at 8 pm During pick up, students will not be allowed into the parking lot without an adult escort. Parents should plan to pull up to the curb or park and walk to the curb to pick up their child. We do not want students crossing a lot filled with moving cars at twilight.
We are looking forward to a fun evening as our 8th graders celebrate their time at the middle school and look forward to their next step as they move to high school. | | The high school prom is next week, and in preparation there will be a program for high school seniors about automobile safety. This program, which involves a simulated crash and first responders, will take place during the day on Tuesday, May 26, on the access road next to the middle school. There will be emergency vehicles and personnel onsite, but the event is staged. For the middle school, it will be business as usual on that day. | | | | | Hello Northern Burlington Staff/Parents/Community Members, We need your help. Green is the color associated with this initiative, and this year’s focus is on community support, reducing stigma, and promoting actionable wellness with the theme “More Good Days Together”. This is led by Mental Health America (MHA). They encourage reflection on what a “good” day looks like, both for ourselves and our communities. For activities and ways to get involved, check out their website for more information at www. mhanational.org. | | | | | On Friday, June 12th at 7:00 PM, members of the Northern Burlington Middle School Choir will take the field to perform “God Bless America” at the Trenton Thunder game. This special performance is also a fundraiser for our choir program, so we encourage families, friends, and community members to join us for a fun night of baseball while supporting our student musicians. Bring your school spirit and cheer on our talented singers as they represent Northern Burlington! More details about ticket information will be shared soon.
