Northern Burlington has begun gathering information that will help us develop a new Strategic Plan. If you have not already, please consider providing feedback at this ThoughtExchange link. If you have already completed the survey, you can go back and rate responses that others have submitted. This online platform allows you to contribute by answering questions, sharing your thoughts, and rating the ideas of others. This feedback will be the foundation that will shape our new plan. We will host forums later this winter to discuss the results and next steps. |

The Northern Burlington Middle School recognized our Governor’s Educators of the Year today. These selections were made on the basis of nominations we received from the community, and thank you to all who contributed.
Mr. Robert Goldstein was selected as our Teacher of the Year. Mr. Goldstein is a business teacher who teaches both seventh and eighth graders at the middle school. He is also the advisor for the school store.
Ms. Meghan Brennan was chosen as our Educational Services Provider. Ms. Brennan began her career at Northern Burlington as a special education teacher and has long since become a member of the middle school’s Child Study Team. |

STAT Club is hosting its annual Holiday HomeFront collection. As a school, we work to collect holiday stockings and stocking stuffers to help those in need. All items are donated to HomeFront, which is an organization that provides support to the less fortunate. Please bring all donations to your homeroom. This collection will be going on until December 19th. Let's continue to spread some holiday cheer to the families of HomeFront! |

We are beginning the winter sports season. While we appreciate our students wanting to come out and support their classmates, we are not equipped to provide supervision to student spectators. As a result, students who wish to watch a basketball game or wrestling match must first go home and then return with a responsible adult who will stay with them for the duration of the contest. There will be a sign in process for students and their adult chaperones when they arrive at the contest. |

We have gathered a large collection of water bottles. If your son or daughter is missing a water bottle, please have them check the display case in the main hallway. If their water bottle is in the case, they should just let the main office know and we will happily return it to them. |

In the last Clinical Corner, many holiday stressors were highlighted, yet one was left out: financial stress. It can be challenging to afford all the things that go along with the holiday, and that list can seem endless. Again, the media paints a picture of it being easy to “do and have it all”, when the reality can be much different. Included here is a lengthy list of food banks in Burlington County. They list the days that their bank is open. I wanted to add the Columbus Baptist Church, as that is closer than some of the ones listed, yet it is not on the list. Their schedule is: the first Tuesday and Thursday of each month to shop and then on the third Wednesday of every month they have a grab and go. All of these organizations often welcome volunteers around the holidays if that is something you would like to do which can often help with the holiday blues.
Here is the LINK for the extensive listing of local food banks in Burlington County. |

Is your child in need of academic support? Members of the High School National Honors Society provide tutoring to all Northern Burlington students. Middle School students can attend tutoring after school on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning on September 24 in the Greyhound Learning Center. Interested students simply need to sign up during their lunch period. |

PHOTO DONATIONS: In the past few years, we have had so many people generously donate photos from their lives at home. We would love to have you share photos with us from life outside of the school building (July 2025-January 2026). We typically use photos of summer vacations, celebrations (birthdays, holidays), and free-time activities (hobbies, sports, relaxing, etc), but we would appreciate all photos. When uploading, please take the time to tag the students in the photo. Photo Share Link: https://photos.jostens.com/MQ8TN9 Last day to upload: January 30, 2026. |
