MB Tacobell fundraiser flyer.pdf | | September is quickly progressing and it would be ideal to try and balance the demands and obligations that are starting to pile up as students settle into the school year. Anxiety usually plays a role in this process. Encouraging your teen to verbalize what may be overwhelming them can help reduce the amount of anxiety they are feeling. Rephraming a negative statement such as “I am going to fail this test” to “ I am capable of doing my best on this test” can make a big difference. Focusing on what can be controlled such as preparation and effort can also help. Incorporating relaxation and mindfulness by practicing deep breathing, journaling and taking short breaks to listen to music or just stepping away for 10 minutes can help your teen be more productive. There is always the old-fashioned list too that works to calm anxiety as you cross things off. There is no right or wrong to whatever method or combination you choose, sometimes just switching into action mode instead of spinning your wheels does the trick. | | Buy your YEARBOOK at the LOWEST PRICE OFFERED.
