The Eighth Grade Class Night is tonight from 6pm- 8pm at the Middle School. This is a picnic event that includes food, music, and outdoor games, and dress is casual. The event is open only to Northern Burlington 8th graders. Tickets were sold the weeks of May 12 and 19 during lunches. Only students who purchased tickets in advance are able to attend; no tickets will be sold at the door. We look forward to a fun evening for the members of the class of 2029 who are attending.
Students should not arrive before 6pm and rides should be ready to pick up students promptly at 8pm. Pickup will be from the main parking lot, but students will not be allowed to leave the sidewalk in front of the school until the car pulls up to the curb or parents are there to escort students to their car. (We do not want students running across a dark parking lot unsupervised.) Please plan accordingly. |

Northern Burlington Regional School District is asking all stakeholders to participate in a Climate Survey that will collect useful data to gain multiple perspectives on aspects of school climate. Collecting data is important for understanding strengths and needs of our school and how it feels to be a member of the NBC community. Your voice is important to us, and your opinions will help us to address current priorities. The survey is anonymous, and it is voluntary. The survey will be available to all stakeholders from Friday, May 23 , 2025 thru Sunday, June 18, 2025. We appreciate your ongoing support and look forward to exploring new ways to continue working together to create the most supportive and engaging environment NBC Students, Families, and Faculty. Please use the link or the QR code below to complete the survey.

At that time they will receive their new Chromebook and charger for high school. In order to receive a new Chromebook, the Chromebook and Dell charger turned in must be in good working condition. In the event there are damages to the Chromebook that must be repaired, a new Chromebook will not be issued until that financial obligation is paid in full. Bucket lists have really evolved into just a list of fun or meaningful things you want to accomplish in a given period of time. With summer around the corner, and knowing that sometimes having too much unstructured time can be hard for teens(or even adults), I thought creating a bucket list might be helpful.
It can be created as a family, or individually and it should be a non-judgmental list, as what is considered fun to one person may not be to another. They can be silly or more serious. You can even categorize it into these sections: For Rainy Days/Outdoor Activities/Outings and Trips/Food to Make/Goals to Accomplish etc. They can be personalized any way you wish.
The lists I found are extensive and pinterest has a ton. So for those moments when you or your teen are feeling bored, just google Summer Bucket List and you should be able to find something to do! Here are just a few to get you started… Go on a weekend camping trip Play tag or basketball in the rain and/or at night Watch the sunset on the beach Make a new recipe
You can make a bucket list for each season. Just have fun with it and be intentional and your time is guaranteed to be well spent! |
