Federal Impact Aid Survey:  On October 13, 2023, Northern Burlington will electronically solicit the US Department of Education's Federal Impact Aid Student-Parent Survey Form for the 2023-2024 School Year. This form is available through PowerSchool’s parent portal. This survey is important and determines the amount of Federal Impact Aid the district receives. Consequently, this form, one for each student, needs to be completed and submitted by you (student’s parent/guardian/sponsor) by Tuesday, October 31,2023. Please keep your eye out for this electronic survey form next week. Thank you!

Middle School Yearbook:  The 2024 Polaris Yearbook is now accepting pre-orders! Take advantage of our Back-to-School special: $9 off (full price is $59) and FOUR FREE icons when you purchase personalization ($10). The Back-to-School special ends October 27, 2023. Payments are made online via credit card or PayPal and can be split into three installments, if preferred. Additional options such as a Parent Ad, plastic cover, and other accessories are also available on the website.  https://linktr.ee/nbcrmsyearbook

Middle School Pictures:  Student pictures are scheduled for October 17.  They will take place during physical education classes.  The link to the order form can be found HERE.

While ordering pictures is optional, all students will be photographed.  This is the photo that will be used in the yearbook as well as on the student identification card next year.

Winter Sports: Winter sports registration is now open for the 2023-24 season.  This would be for basketball, wrestling, and cheerleading.

If you currently have an athletic registration account, please log in with your username and password.  Do not create a new one.  If you need assistance, please feel free to contact the Athletic Office at 609-298-3900, ext. 2093.

For the basketball team, in particular, there are tryouts.  In order for a student to participate in tryouts, they must be medically cleared.  So it is important to start the process now rather than waiting and risk not being cleared to participate in a timely fashion.

PTSC: The Parent Teacher Student Connection will be selling carnival treats (cotton candy, popcorn, and candy) at the Homecoming Carnival on 10/14. We would appreciate any donations from our Amazon Wish List to help us fundraise. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! https://a.co/6bN61Rh If you haven't signed up to be a member yet, please visit our website at www.nburlington.com/page/ptsc

Team Theme Day on Halloween (10/31):  Our school climate committee and the interdisciplinary teams are working on developing a team theme day to coincide with Halloween.   Students are NOT to wear traditional costumes  to school (save those types of costumes for any after school and evening events).  Instead, we are going to have team competitions based on themes with the goal of building team spirit and solidarity.  Each team is going to have a theme and each student is welcome to participate with their team.  There will be prizes for the winning team.

The teams will communicate their themes with their students and typical school dress code applies  as well as no masks, no face paint, and no hair coloring in school (they make a mess).

Northern FFA Fall Plant Sales:  The Northern FFA Chapter will be holding 3 Fall Plant Sales during the month of September & October. Please see the flier for sale dates & times. Horticulture students have been working hard over the summer propagating, planting, and growing fall crops - including mums & pansies! This year we are happy to offer a unique selection of plants to our customers. We look forward to seeing you during the plant sale days! In addition to the sale dates below, the greenhouse will be open for plant sales during the High School at the HS Open House on Thursday, October 12th from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

Address:  Northern Burlington County Regional High School, Greenhouse Complex, 160 Mansfield Road East, Columbus, NJ 08022
