Important Dates:

Sept 7: First day of school for students

Sept 13-17: Senior Portraits by appointment only - see below

Sept 22:  High School Student Picture Day

Sept 28: Virtual College Fair - more information below

Opening Day:

The first day for students is Tuesday, September 7th.  School begins promptly at 7:20 am and dismisses at 2:28 pm.   Students should report to their first period class.  Please access PowerSchool to see the student’s first period class. During that class, students will receive a copy of their schedules.

Opening of School Forms:

Similar to last year, the typical opening of school forms that have to be completed, are available for completion in PowerSchool.  Please log on to your Parent PowerSchool account and complete the two electronic annual forms and the COVID Statement of Assurance form as soon as possible (all found in annual forms):

  1. Parent Consent Form and

  2. Emergency Information & Trip/Activity Medical form

  3. COVID Statement of Assurance

If you cannot access your Parent Portal account, please contact your child’s counselor for assistance. Thank you!

Student Schedules:

PowerSchool will be available to parents and students on Friday, September 3rd by 4 pm. PowerSchool allows parents and students to view attendance, grades, and assignments.

Parent Email:

The school uses email communications on a regular basis so it is essential that the school has an accurate email address.  Parents should log into PowerSchool to review the email address shown and update as necessary.  Parents may enter more than one email address. Please note that adding an email address in the Parent/Student Portal does not change the email address on file in PowerSchool demographics, to do this you must email the school registrar your request.

Bus Assignments: Please check again - there have been some changes.

Bus Assignments can be found in PowerSchool under Transportation and these will be available beginning Wednesday, September 1.  Please be aware that students must ride their assigned bus.  Temporary requests for a student to ride a different bus will be considered only for emergency situations and only with the Principal’s approval.  Such a request must be submitted in writing from both the parent of the child and the parent who will be receiving the child, along with phone numbers to confirm the request.

HS Tours:

We understand that there are many students who have not yet set foot in our high school. This summer, we were unable to provide in person tours as a result of construction. However, we have placed a link to virtual tours in  the students Class of 20XX Google Classrooms as well as a map of the new building.

Senior Parking:

Please find the link below for the 2021 – 2022 Senior Parking Application that can be accessed in Google Classroom.

School Lunches:

We are fortunate to have three cafeterias now:  West Cafe, East Cafe, and Main Cafe.  The new Main Cafe is very large and using all three cafeterias for each lunch period will enable us to do a better job of spacing students out.

  • Similar to last year - lunches are free for students. However, they must have their school ID to have the lunch scanned. Students may purchase a second lunch if they would like.

  • All three cafeterias will have the same offerings.

  • Students must stay in their assigned cafeteria & will remain at the same lunch table.

  • Minimal outdoor seating will be available

  • Students are permitted to remove their masks when eating.

  • Students will be required to wear masks when not seated in the cafeteria.

  • Students may not eat in other areas of the building.

Paying for School Lunches

  • Parents have the option to pay for a second lunch on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The District utilizes a Cafeteria Data Management System named Lunch Time.  To access the Lunch Time Parent Portal, from the drop down menu on the High School tab of our website www.nburlington.com; choose explore, students & parents resources, “Food Services'', then choose “Lunch Time Parent Portal'' from the options on the right.

  • Students may also pay for lunch using cash at the point of sale or by check.  Checks should be made payable to Northern Burlington County Regional Cafeteria Account, please include the student’s full name, and school ID number on the check.
