Welcome Back to School!

Nutri-Serve is excited to start another year at Northern Burlington and to see your smiling faces, but first, we have a few important updates for the 2023-2024 school year. We have an exciting addition this school year as we will be serving breakfast to our students. The benefits of breakfast are numerous and we would like to start the day with a nutritious well balanced meal to promote sound eating habits and to foster good health and academic achievement in our students.

Here are some highlights of NB’s Food Service Plan:

Premium meals include but are not limited to “made to order” Deli Sandwiches and Salads.
Made to order Burrito Bar items are served only in the high school.

For your convenience, online prepayments are possible using the site www.schoolpaymentportal.com with your child’s student ID. Cash or a check can also be applied to your child’s account by any cashier. Why choose school meals? School meals provide nutritious foods including fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, milk, and whole grains. Consistent exposure to a wide variety of foods not only encourages students to try something new, but also helps build lifelong healthy habits and a positive relationship with food. School meals are also a great value. Each lunch meal comes with a PROTEIN, GRAIN, FRUIT, VEGETABLE, & MILK.

Students must take at least 1 serving of fruit or vegetable, but can select up to 2 servings. *a la carte & snack options also available*

*The school cafe website is for menu preview and to view the nutritional information for our menu items. If you would like to set up an account for your student please use www.schoolpaymentportal.com. Here you can add money on to your students’ account via a credit card and view transactions.

While we try our best to follow the posted menu, ongoing supply chain issues necessitate substitutions at times. Please contact us if you have questions or concerns about menu changes or product substitutions. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we work to provide nutritious school meals in this challenging and changing environment. We will continue to follow all food safety protocol and are dedicated to ensure a safe environment for our students.
