The Agriscience Program is appropriate for students interested in animals, plants or mechanics. Students interested in a well-rounded agriscience education should elect courses from all three areas. The Plant and Animal Science courses may be used to meet one year of the science graduation credit requirement. In addition, colleges accept these courses as academic units. Students can enter the agriscience world of work by selecting the Cooperative Agriculture Education course. For more information, speak with an agriscience teacher. Agriscience students are expected to participate in leadership training activities as developed through the FFA (www.highwired.com/Activity/Home/O,4588,9495,00.html or some other alternative.
