Academic
By June 2014, students of Northern Burlington Regional Middle School and High School will demonstrate a greater degree of success in the study of rigorous academic courses, as measured by:
- One-hundred percent of students achieving a score of Proficient or above on the Mathematics sections of each assessment administered as part of the New Jersey State Assessment Program.
- One-hundred percent of students achieving a score of Proficient or above on the Language Arts sections of each assessment administered as part of the New Jersey State Assessment Program.
- Ensuring that no student fails any course aligned with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards.
Culture
By the year 2014, Northern Burlington County Regional High School and Middle School will foster positive and productive personal and social behavior within the school and community through the development of core ethical values--respect, responsibility, compassion and honesty - as demonstrated by:
- One-hundred percent grade eight and grade eleven/twelve student participation in one or more school/community service projects such as: Peer Mentoring and Mediation, Charitable Fundraisers, Blood Drives, etc.
- One-hundred percent student participation in one or more extra-curricular activities.
- Zero incidents requiring suspension as per our disciplinary code.
- Zero incidents of bullying
- Zero incidents of academic dishonesty
Multiple and Diverse Paths to Career Development By the year 2014, 100% of the Northern Burlington County Regional High School District Grade 12 students will demonstrate continuing education- and career- preparedness readiness by achieving a score of 4 or higher as measured by the NBC Regional High School Career Development Matrix.*Â *The NBCRegionalHigh School Career Development Matrix utilizes the NJ Career Education Standards and the National Standards for School Counseling Programs. |
